My wife is amazing: she birthed an incredibly handsome boy weighing an official 8 lbs 14.1 oz (although I have pictoral proof that he was actually 8 lbs 14.2 oz) and measuring 20 3/4 inches. Landon arrived at 6:41 pm after almost 11 hours of labor. His grandparents were a tremendous support - Landon is the first grandchild on both sides. They were almost excited as we were!
During our first night as parents, we learned all about soothing, feeding, burping, and changing diapers. Although difficult, it was a joyous experience we'll never forget! Did I mention my wife is amazing? She has become better and better at breastfeeding in just 24 hours - Anna and Landon are such a pair. I am more in love with her than ever before and can hardly believe such a small little guy can also cause my heart to overflow with love. I suppose I better understand what it must be like for our father in heaven and can see why He cares for us as He does.Landon brought vis
