Wow, so much has happened since we found out we are having a SON, Landon James
Cohn, on 9-9-9! The doctor said Landon and I were perfect patients; we are both right on target health wise and Landon was so cute to watch on the ultrasound. He was doing bicep curls (learned from Mommy's
bodypump class I am sure) and at one point even gave us a thumbs up. He sucked his thumb for a little bit and would bring his knees to and from his chest. I also think I saw something that looked like a sweet forehand swing so of course he will be an incredible tennis player! :) We got the sweetest pics of his yawn, feet, hands, perfect organs, flexing, sucking his thumb, and more! It was incredible to see our little angel in action in my belly...we were both in awe and in tears. :)
We have been doing lots of traveling lately while I still can. We spent Easter weekend in DC with brother Brian Cohn while we were at a law school event there.

We had so much fun and really appreciated Brian's gracious hospitality. On the way home, we stopped off in Virginia Beach for a night of
baby moon at a cute little room with a big
balcony overlooking the water. James was so cute feeding the seagulls from our room!

It was so romantic and relaxing to get away with just the two of us...no big dogs or cat, no schedule or work, just being together was such a blessing for the weekend. We had our own little private Sunrise Easter service on our balcony which was very refreshing especially since from now on we will have a big family with the 4 kids we hope to have plus all of our animals! :)

We also got to do some rollerblading on the beautiful boardwalk, ate lots of yummy fresh flounder at the cutest cafe, and just had the best time.

The following week we took off for Austin to be a part of cousin Tim and Sarah Reidy's wedding weekend! It was a wonderful experience and cousin Kate and I are both pregnant with boys (she already has a boy who will, as James says, beat Landon up soon) and we were so thrilled to be preggo together...so much fun.
Little Sister Cara says Kate and I always left her out as kids and now...she's left out again with no belly. But--she has a LOT to look forward to since she will be the God Mother of all 4 of our children! She will be the best Godmother ever...Landon is a lucky dude. :)
Kate and I were serious trouble makers as kids so we are hoping the boys will be a little more well behaved...not likely, we know. :) It was wonderful to see Mom and Dad, Aunt Judy and Uncle John, my Hero Grandpa Papaw and his wife Judi, and my godmother Pat
Herron and her husband Don.

The rehearsal dinner had a Texas theme and was at
Stubbs BBQ in Austin...and Andy
Roddick's wedding celebration was there the next night! :)
It was neat to get back to my Texas roots and to see my sweet James in a cowboy hat. The wedding was gorgeous and Sarah looked stunning. The highlight of my whole night was seeing how genuine and happy Tim and Sarah were and also of course dancing the night away with my wonderful grandpa Papaw. I love him so much and am so thankful for him!

James has finals this week and next so I have been trying to help him by keeping the house super neat (so he has no distractions:) and making him food, taking care of the dogs, etc. On Saturday we went to the coolest benefit for the Humane Society where we walked with the Mayor around this pretty park and then had ice cream and hot dogs while listening to live bluegrass music and hanging out with other dog loving families. Samson and Daisy were wonderful with all of the little kids; we can't wait for Landon to get to grow up with such sweet animals...what a blessing for him. I also spent lots of time with girlfriends and we did a Wake Wives night of hiking around a beautiful lake here and then a potluck dinner. It is always great to be around other wives who feel the pain of putting your husband through law school and helping him through crazy finals time. James has been such a trooper and even while studying like crazy he always finds time to serve me in the coolest and most creative/sweet ways. I am the most blessed woman in the world to have him as a husband and father of our future son Landon. Please pray that he is able to get plenty of rest and
that his mind will be sharp for all of his exams. He is working so hard to be able to provide for our family someday and to serve the community
through his legal profession. He is going to be the best attorney in the world! :)
Love you guys so much; thanks for keeping up with our crazy life and for your prayers and support and we hope to see you very soon. Take care and blessings on your week!
All our love,
Anna, James, Landon, Samson & Daisy the pups, and Led Zeppelin the kitty Cohn :)
