New Year 2015

We have had an awesome start to 2015.  Life with three active boys is crazy ~ no down time ~ but such an incredible blessing!  We are so thankful for God's tremendous blessings on our family - even though life is not perfect He always provides exactly what we need and shows us how to help others in His time!  The boys are growing by leaps and bounds.  LJ is loving soccer and his same team from last year plus some other dear friends.  Nolan is as big as all the boys on his team and wears his cleats to practice and kicks the ball around with me but was astonished when he didn't get the official team jersey - he can finally officially play in the Fall and will do soccer or tball.  He is so ready and so pumped.  The boys adore their little Caleb and always look out for him and help him learn to walk, talk, eat solid foods, etc.  It is so precious to see their interactions and that they are already best buddies.  Sometimes James and I sit back and watch them tearfully, knowing how each one is such a miracle, so prayed for, loved, cherished, and such a unique blessing that we pray will be little vessels for God's love to others.

Our Disney vacation was magical - we cherished every second together, slept well and enjoyed watching fireworks from our awesome resort room, hung out with cool Uncle Drew, swam, played, did all the rides with no lines, relaxed, ate amazing food, and just enjoyed each other and the California sunshine!  We also prepared for Caleb's first birthday which was absolutely a blast (pics coming soon:)!

Our precious Samson is dying of bone cancer which has been so hard for all of us to see and think about - he has been with us for 8 wonderful years - through babies and miscarriages, marriage, law school, moves, figuring out marriage, figuring out how to be parents, missions, work events, parties, playdates, helping the boys learn to walk, protecting me, protecting the boys, helping Daddy remodel our home, helping Daddy take care of Mommy after babies are born, snuggling with me after a horrible miscarriage, snuggling with me and new baby boys, sleeping at my feet while I nursed every one of our boys the from the first to last times, and more.  So much more.  He really is like our first baby.  Words can't express how much we'll miss him but we are so thankful God gave him to us for 8 years.  We have been reading the boys Dog Heaven and watching Marley and Me (although we can't stand to watch the sad part yet).  We are looking to adopt a new golden retriever either through the rescue or a puppy.  Praying through that and hoping God gives us the right little golden for our family.  Since we were engaged, we have not gone without a dog in our home.  Right now Samson is happy and walking on three legs but still playing with the boys and on his pain medicine has a great quality of life.  Vet says he's got days to a month longer max.  We are very thankful he is so pain free now and that he's happy!

We are looking forward to Easter and enjoying teaching our precious boys more about our awesome Jesus this Spring.  More fun pics to come!
