Boys Summer 2014

LJ started VBS today and loves every minute.  Over 1,000 kids there so a little stressful getting him in but once he was with his little class it was perfect.  Sat in between two of his favorite buddies and has an awesome teacher.  Can't wait to volunteer next year when Caleb is done nursing!  Nolan was dying to go to Petsmart his favorite store so took him there for some one on one time while Caleb napped in his Moby :).  Had a ball.  He's picking out his "kitty for Gaga's house" but didn't find the perfect one yet.  Wants an orange kitten and has all of these funny names picked out.  Love his sense of humor.  He's hilarious and always keeps us on our toes.  Sweet Landon is learning so much about our awesome God and astounds me daily with his caring nature and sweet heart.  He loves playing the new songs he's learning from piano lessons, playing his bongo drums and ukulele, singing, playing soccer and tennis, and helping me with stuff around the house.  He's such a wonderful big brother and dearly loves Nolan and Caleb and is always helping take care of them.  It's precious to see.  We are excited to travel to their favorite cousins birthday party this weekend and go to Nasa and other fun Houston attractions.  We have also enjoyed all of the awesome service projects with our wonderful church and serving with our awesome community group.  Such a blessing to have friends like family and get to see our boys (lots and lots of boys:) play together while we dig deep into God's word.  Time at Gaga and Jeda's house has also been a tremendous blessing for us all.  The boys have loved hanging out at their pool, hiking their trail, and riding in their big Ranger to the river to fish and kayak.  House remodeling projects have been at times a little stressful but overall such a blessing.  We have had fun priming the closet doors and trim with the boys...they use their little red paintbrushes to "help" and we go behind them and smooth it out ;).  Daddy has been busy cutting down trees and putting in pebbles around the playscape with a cool border from the old raised bed gardens in preparation for the grass we will plant soon.  Lots of work but the end result will be awesome.  Such a wonderful neighborhood and such awesome friends here.  Very thankful.  Can't wait to enjoy the rest of the summer with my precious boys and already excited for the Fall and all of our favorite holidays :o).
