7th Wedding Anniversary

Such an awesome seven years.  Wonderful, hard, trying, exhausting, beautiful, grace filled, special, sweet, and cherished time together as our family grew and we matured together.  So much has happened and God has truly given us His promise as our rock and the foundation of our marriage so even when it got hard we didn't crumble.  We are so blessed to be surrounded by our children, friends, and family who are so encouraging and uplifting and love us unconditionally.  Although we were planning to go back to St. Lucia for our seventh anniversary (planned it when we were first married on 7-7-7:), we realized that was not happening with a nursing newborn baby too young to travel and two other little boys who we could never leave for another country!  So, we were content walking to our favorite coffee shop and going on a little kid free Schlitterbahn date and floated the lazy river, had a beer at the swim up bar, and got to ride one fun tube ride before relieving sweet Gaga who was home with all three boys!  Decided ten year anniversary was more like it for a tropical get away and we will probably bring the kids :)!  Thankful for the promise of being married forever!!!!!!!  If we can make it when some said we couldn't...through two cross country moves, tons of service projects and leading various groups while in law school, a baby in law school, a baby and no job after law school, remodeling a house while pregnant with a third baby an starting a law practice, three kids, a dog, and living in a home being remodeled I type...we can make it through ANYthing!!!!!!!  :o)  Love the grace we have for each other that can only come from our awesome God!!!!!!!
