At four, his favorite people are Mama, Daddy, Bubba, Gaga, Nana, Popsie, Jetta, Kar, Bella, Lindsey, Chase, Charles, Tanner, Grand Nana, Church Friends, his doctor Dr Harrison and her nurse, School friends, Miss Emmie his violin teacher, Coach Becky (tennis), Miss Amy (teacher last year), Ms Bobby (teacher), Ms Lloyd (music and chapel teacher) and anyone he says hi to with his sweet smile who smiles back at him :). He constantly opens doors for girls and says "ladies first!" and is so passionate and caring for his family and friends. When we walk in to his school, he says hi by name to each of the teacher aids and teachers and they can't believe he remembers each of their names and is so sweet to them. He is so thrilled to meet new people and make new friends but cherishes the friendships he already has. Truly such a blessing to all he meets.
LJ's favorite things at age 4 are violin, tennis, swimming, riding his scooter and strider bike, playing Space and having slumber parties with his Bubba, anything having to do with space, soccer, reading, coloring, painting, the children's museum, fishing, his dog Samson, snuggling with Mama, swinging and fun with Daddy, gardening with Mama, music class, the symphony, gymnastics, yoga, doing Pilates with Mama, his lion pillow pet Rar Rar, his cozy bed, and his home and playscape and sandbox.
At his appointment, they asked him a million questions and his answers were SO creative and cute. A few highlights ~ She asks "Landon, what is a fence" and he says "A fence is for DOGS!" Another one was "LJ what are curtains for?" and he replies with a grin "curtains are for making my room nice and dark so I can nap!"
As a gift, Daddy got me and LJ tickets to the Mid Texas Symphony which was such a blessing for us to
attend. His violin teacher played so well and we were in awe of the talent. It was awesome! For the first half, I watched him watching the symphony. He was on the edge of his seat. Gripping the sides. In complete awe. Then he exclaimed " Mom did you see that beautiful timpani?!" The ladies sitting near us were enthralled and impressed he knew what that instrument was as a brand new four old! So sweet. Such special memories. The second part was all NASA space photos of all of the planets which is his passion. So perfect. He even wanted to go to the refreshment table after the music and meet the musicians. When we saw Miss Emmie he was thrilled and told her how well she did and that he was impressed with how "fast" she could play! :o)
