Impromptu port a beach trip spring 2013 Easter weekend

After a very stressful and overwhelming few months, we needed a little peace and relaxation. God provided an amazing weekend getaway to Port A on our shoestring budget and we could not be more thankful. We appreciated and loved this trip even more than any fancy and planned ahead trip we have ever had. Finally our family got to just hang out, be real, talk, laugh till our bellies hurt, play, relax and enjoy Gods absolutely breathtaking ocean. Landon and I spent hours praying, studying his bible on the beach, thanking Godfor our time, tickling baby brother, burying Daddy in the sand, making castles and space stations in the sand, jumping waves, flying kites, tooling around local candy shops and boutiques, fun beach coffee shops, and just enjoying each other. What a necessary and amazing time. We are so thankful to be able to teach our boys a love and appreciation for the ocean. It is truly my favorite place in the world. I know my grandma Gaga is smiling down on us as she laughs with Jesus about how much Landon ad Nolan and I remind her of the way she played with us on the beach so many times at the beach house. Love. Recharged and ready to celebrate our Lord tomorrow with two super fun Easter celebrations!!!:-).
