Two Months Old ALREADY! :)

The cutest little smile in the whole world!!!!!!!
Thanks Aunt Barb and Uncle John for this adorable towel that he LOVES! :-)

Landon is already two months old. We can hardly believe it! He's growing a TON lengthwise (but very skinny around) and still in the ninety first percentile for height meaning if he keeps going at this rate he may be around 6'4! We have had so much fun with his first toothless smiles, giggles, talking (says Gooo, Ga, Ohhhh, and Ma), playing on his fun play mat and looking at his animal mobile, tummy time where he already lifts his head way up and talks to us and the dogs, lots of jogs in his stroller while he smiles up at Mommy, time outside in his sun hat from Aunt Crystal while we fetch with the dogs, looking in the mirror and smiling, tennis dates (Mommy has finally been back to beating Daddy now yay:), dinners and lunches out, and his very favorite of all...baths with his Daddy! Landon James is the most amazing blessing we could ever imagine. He brings us so much joy and love and fills our hearts every day with his love and sweet snuggles.

James is working hard in school and I began working again, very part time on projects at Cancer Services where I was full time before, when James comes home from class in the afternoons and some on the weekends for events. This has been a huge blessing to our family to have the opportunity for me to go out and do a job where I can help lots of people and work with people I absolutely love all while we make sure Landon is able to stay with us for the whole day. I have currently been working on our annual bike ride fundraiser, The Ride for Courage http://www.gopolar.org/ . If you go to that site you can sign up for the ride or if you are out of state you can donate to the awesome cause (all proceeds go straight to help people with cancer right here in our community)! James rode last year but this year he will stay at the start with our little polar bear Landon (he has a polar bear snow suit he will wear on Ride day:). Since he was in my belly at tons of events where I spoke on behalf of Cancer Services while I was pregnant with him, he will be right at home and may even want to join in when our Mayor reads his proclamation statement that New Year's Day is the Ride for Courage Day in Winston-Salem! :)

James is studying hard and still looking for a job upon graduation in May. We are really praying and hoping something comes about soon as many firms have already hired and some may hire again in January. Looks like we will be here or in Texas, whichever place has the best job or potential opportunities for us. He took the first section of the Bar exam, Professional Responsibility, on Saturday and thinks he did great! He is such an incredible husband and daddy for Landon. We are so thankful for his unconditional love, support, dedication to our family, and most of all, his care for both of us! :)

Hope everyone is gearing up for a wonderful holiday season...we are so excited for Landon to experience his first holidays so soon. Love to you all and thanks again so much for all of your love and support of our little family!
