Happy first birthday to our fun loving, hilarious, snugly, sweet Mama's boy! :o) Nolan has blessed our lives beyond belief. He is one of God's greatest gifts to us. His smile and bright blue eyes capture so many hearts and make so many people overjoyed. His laugh is contagious and his disposition is better than any one year old we have ever known. Some of the things I love about Nolan at age one:
~The way he says "DaDA!!!" every time James comes in the door at lunch and in the evening.
~How he catches people's eye in the store or church and makes people smile and laugh at him.
~The way he calls "Mama!" when he is nervous or wants to snuggle or nurse.
~How sweet he is with his friends and his brother - so sweet with sharing and holding hands :o)
~Even when he is upset (which is not often) he always eventually cracks a smile and a laugh just to make sure I am not too stressed out :o)
~When he eats, he always manages to get as messy as humanly possible and smear his hands all over his face, ears, mommy's outfit, etc - but loves to eat anything all the time - so much fun to try new foods etc!
~He rolls with whatever the day entails even if it's hours of activities for his big bro - he's such a trooper and always has a smile even if he misses a nap etc :o)
~He loves dogs and anytime he sees one (esp Samson in the backyard) he says "oggie doggie oggie" and smiles and waves
~No matter what happens he always has a HUGE open mouth drooly baby kiss that comes out of nowhere for my cheeks
Today was SO much fun at his first baseball birthday party. He LOVED every minute and we were so thankful that so many of his sweet friends came out to Gaga's ranch to celebrate with us. We cannot wait to see our sweet little man grow up and we hope he loves the Lord with all his heart and changes the world. We are so blessed to have the opportunity to see his precious smile every single day!
