Lordy lordy!!! Nolan's about to be here!!!
We woke up at the crack of dawn and left LJ in the more than capable hands of Gaga and Deda (pronounced "Jetta")! It was bittersweet leaving him but know he's going to have such a blast (and may get a little spoiled). So far, it appears his grandpa and grandma are following the 10 page instruction manual left by Anna. .. woke up having quite the conversation with his stuffed animals, read books in "mommy's" (Mommy's bed) and played trains/telephone with Deda. He then had a looooooong healthy breakfast and is jumping like a crazy man at the Jumpy place!!! It's going to be a special day for his first day as a big brother!!!
Anna and I met up with Nana at the hospital, got right in and have been helped by our caring nurse, Carol. Nana helped out with getting some important items for us from the store and giving Anna some super cute white bunny slippers!
Anna has been incredible these first few hours: she started the Pitosin at 8:15 am, the doc broke her water around 9:30 am and now she's really starting to feel those contractions!!! She's walked around a bunch, bounced more than Carol would've liked, and is finally resting while the contractions rapidly increase. We are so excited to meet Nolan that we're doing everything we can in order to get him here quick!!!! Safely, of course.
Contractions are now about 5 min apart! We'll keep this updated as best we can but appreciate all the prayers.
