Six months and counting!

Aunt Sandy or Grand Nana to LJ hosted us at her home while James had tons of amazing interviews and mts with attorneys in NB. We love Aunt Sandy so much and she is the best!!!

LJ has been growing by leaps and bounds! In the past month, we have had so many special experiences and exciting times. The most exciting of course...Landon James said his very first word and is continually saying it....Ma Ma! :-) Wahoo! I am so proud of the little man. He says Ma Ma Ma Ma and looks right at me with a big smile or the sign language hand motion for milk hahaha. He is such a character. We also got a contract on our home...a sweet couple from Austin is buying it so are are switching states since we are moving to the Hill Country in Texas and they are moving here! Yes---you heard right---we are officially Texas bound...New Braunfels to be exact! We could not be more excited for God's plan for us there. We leave this Wed. for interviews and house hunting and catching up with family there. My incredible Aunt Sandy and cousin Karen and her family are all there and Sandy is nice enough to let all 3 of us hang out at her place for a whole five days. We are so blessed. Hopefully sweet LJ behaves! :) New developments in the life of our little dude include: sitting up all by himself, grabbing things with both hands, a few sign language motions Mama taught him, drinking by himself out of his sippy cups, petting and playing with the dogs, saying Ma Ma, book, Doggas (for Sam and Dais), much more 'chill' and never cries in mom baby yoga or library story time, loves to read books and asks for them, everyone who sees him says 'wow he is so laid back' etc, much less reflux so a much happier little man, still loves to eat with Mama and does NOT like formula - we tried it a couple of times and were going to do a bottle of it a day and the rest breast milk but not going to happen so he will be breastfed until the recommended one year which is great because it helps me stay slim and helps him have lots of nutrients, he loves to listen to Dada play guitar and even falls asleep while he's playing which is SO sweet to watch, he started swim lessons which are amazing...James and I both go and get in with him and play all kinds of fun games...favorite is going under the waterfall and doing the wheels on the bus game and picking a rubber ducky out of the bin and 'swimming' to go get it, and of course he still loves to outdoors so we spend countless nice afternoons playing in the grass, exploring the pretty flowers, grabbing bushes and sticks to see what they are like, etc...he is my little explorer! It is so fun to think back on the new things LJ has done over the last month. He is growing like crazy and I am just trying to keep up with him! When we had the last house showing, he accompanied me to the store to get some things and rode in his front pack like usual but this time when the cashier handed us the receipt, he snatched it up, said 'Goooooo' and crunched it up in his hand with a huge toothless smile. It was priceless. He is my little buddy...we go everywhere together! Can't wait to see how he does on the airplane in a couple of days. More fun LJ stories to come I am sure! :) We are praying for a great job for James in New Braunfels, a sweet home to live in where LJ can play and the dogs have plenty of yard to run in, and mainly just for the Lord to show us how we can serve Him and love others and teach LJ how much He loves him!
