Tonight LJ read US a goodnight story (I Wish That I Had Duck Feet by Dr Seuss:) AND he said his first ever real prayer out loud. He prayed for Mommy and Daddy Karly and Bella and then said AMMMEEENNN. I was in tears. Our sweet guy is growing up way too fast and is getting sweeter every day. His little brother is amazing too and laughed for the first time last week and is even more laid bak and sweet with each new day. God is awesome!
We had the most incredible trip to Colorado since our last post. We went to stay with Gaga and Jetta and I flew with both boys by myself on the way there. James walked me up to the gate and Gaga met us when we arrived so that made it do-able. :) The boys were angels and we had a few rough spots but overall they were amazing. So thankful that they are both so sweet so the trip was possible. Bella Kar and Honey were there when we got to Gaga's house and the kids had the most incredible time sledding the first time, going to the Denver Children's Museum, and relaxing at the St Julian Spa and seeing where James and I met in Boulder at University of Colorado. I even got to show LJ the Cheesecake Factory where Daddy took Mommy on our first nice date. We missed Daddy tons but he stayed here in New Braunfels so he could work hard for us. He is the best husband and Dad ever. We love him so very much! Landon had the best time on the trip but was elated to see Daddy when we got home! Pics to come... :o)
